the area of curved surface of right circular cylinder is 4400cmsquare and the circumference of base is 110cm .find the height of the cylinder

given :-

circumference of the base of the cylinder = 110cm

therefore 2πr = 110cm (as we know that the base of a right circular cylinder is circular)

==> 2 × 22/7 × r = 110cm

==> 44/7 × r = 110cm

==> r = 110/1 × 7/44

==> r = 2.5 × 7

==> r = 17.5cm

the radius of the cylinder is 17.5cm

the CSA of the cylinder is given = 4400cm²

==> 2πrh = 4400cm²

==> 2 × 22/7 × 17.5 × h = 4400cm²

==> 770/7 × h = 4400cm²

==> 110 × h = 4400cm²

==> h = 4400/110

==> h = 40cm

hence, the height of the cylinder is 40cm.
