here the length of edge becomes the length of each side of the fac So
side (a) = 22 inches
1)area of each face = side square
= 22×22= 484 square inches

2) surface area of cube = 6 × side square
= 6× 22 ×22
=2904 square inches

Area of the each face of the cube is= l^2
 = (22) {}^{2}  \\  = 484 \: square \: inch
Lateral Surface Area of cube = 4 l^2

The Surface Area of cube = 6 l^2
