equilateral triangle has equal sides

hence,the base and height will be same

so let the base and height be y

A.T.Q

area of triangle = 1/2× base ×height

21.2sq cm = 1/2×y+y

21.2 sq cm = 1/2×2y

2y = 21.2×2

2y = 42.4

y =42.4÷2

y = 21.2 cm

Answer:

area \:  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {x}^{2}  \\ 21.2 =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {x}^{2} \\  84.8 =   \sqrt{3}   {x}^{2}  \\  {x }^{2}  =   \frac{ {84.8} }{ \sqrt{ 3} }  \\  {x}^{2}  = 47.2 \\ x = 6.8

side = 6.8 cm
