Answer:

50

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the floor= 2400sq.m

Area of a tile= 6m*8m= 48sq.m

No. of tiles required= 2400sq.m/48sq.m

                                 = 50

According to the Question

It is given that,

  • Area of Floor = 2400 m²
  • Dimension of tile = 6m×8m

we have to calculate the the total number of tiles to cover the given floor .

Firstly we calculate the the area of 1 tile .

↠ Area of 1 tile = 6m×8m

↠ Area of 1 tile = 48m²

For calculating the total number of tiles used to cover the floor we will simply divided the area of floor to the area required for 1 tile.

  • No. of tiles = Area of Floor/Area of 1 floor

by putting the value we get

↠ No. of tiles = 2400m²/48m²

↠ No. of tiles = 50

  • Hence, the total number of tiles required to cover the floor is 50 tiles.
