Here, let length be 'l', breadth be 'b' and height be 'h'.
Then, Area of four walls of a room = 2(l+b) ×h
Now, Length of the room = 2b
Breadth of the room = b
Height of the room = 4 m (Given).
So, area of four walls = 120
=> 2(l+b) ×h = 120
= 2(2b+b) ×4 = 120
= 2 × 3b × 4 = 120
=> 3b = 120/8 = 15.
=> b = 15/3 = 5 m.
So, Length = (2×5)m = 10 m
Breadth = 5 m.
Height = 4 m.
Area of the rectangular floor = l × b
= (10×5) m = 50 m [Ans.]
