The area of four walls of a room is 150 m. if the length of the room is twice its breadth and the height is 4 m, find the area of the floor​

Given area of four walls = 150 m²

let breadth = b

Length is twice its breadth

Therefore length = 2b

Height = 4 m

Now curved surface area of cuboid = 2h(l+b)

so

length;l = 2b = 2 x 6.25 = 12.50 cm

Area of floor = l x b= 6.25 x 12.50 = 78.125 cm²
