the area of four walls of a room is 150 m square if the length of a room is twice its breadth and height is 4 m find the area of the floor

solution :1)
let the breadth of the room be = x m
& length =2x m
& height =4 m
area of the four walls of the room =2(length+breadth)×height
150=2(2x+x)×4
150=8(3x)
150/8×3=x
6.25 m=x
therefore,
breadth = x = 6.25m
length = 2x=2×6.25= 12.50m
2) area of the floor = length × breadth
= 12.50×6.25
=78.1250m^2
