\huge\bf\underline{Answer}

The height of the room is 3 metre respectively.

Explanation:-

Given :

Area of four walls = 42 m²

Area of floor = 12 m²

Length of the room = 4 m

To find :

Height of the room

Solution :

First we will find out the breadth of the floor.

We know that,

Area = (Length × Breadth) sq.unit

 =  >  l \times b = 12

 =  > 4 \times b = 12

 =  > b =  \dfrac{12}{4}

 =  > b = 3

Hence, the breadth of the floor is 3 m.

Now,

Let the height of the room be h

Area of four walls = 42 m²

According to question,

  =  > Perimeter \times h = 42 \:  {m}^{2}

 =  > 2(l + b) \times h = 42

 =  > 2(4 + 3) \times h = 42

 =  > 2(7) \times h = 42

 =  > 14h = 42

 =  > h =  \dfrac{42}{14}

 =  > h = 3

Hence, the height of the room is 3 m.

\huge\underline\textbf{Answer:-}

\underline\textbf{According to the given question:-}

  • 42 m² is the area of four walls
  • 12 m² is the area of floor
  • 4 m is the length of the room

\underline\textbf{We need to find Height of the room:-}

\underline\textbf{Let is  find  the breadth of the floor:-}

\underline\textbf{</u><u>Using formula:-</u><u>:-}

  • Area = (Length × Breadth)

=&gt;l×b=12

=&gt;4×b=12

=&gt;b= 4/12

=&gt;b=3

\underline\textbf{Therefore, 3 m is the breadth of the floor:-}

\underline\textbf{Here,}

  • Let x be the height of the Room
  • 42 m² is the area of four walls

From the question:-

=&gt;Perimeter×h=42m

=&gt;2(length + breadth )×h=42

=&gt;2(4+3)×h=42

=&gt;2(7)×h=42

=&gt;14h=42

=&gt;h= 14/42

=&gt;h=3

  • Therefore, 3cm is the height of the Room.
