First we will find out the breadth of the floor.

We know that,

$= > b = \dfrac{12}{4}$

$= > b = 3$

Hence, the breadth of the floor is 3 m.

Now,

Let the height of the room be h

Area of four walls = 42 m²

According to question,

$= > Perimeter \times h = 42 \: {m}^{2}$

$= > 2(l + b) \times h = 42$

$= > 2(4 + 3) \times h = 42$

$= > 2(7) \times h = 42$

$= > 14h = 42$

$= > h = \dfrac{42}{14}$
