The area of four walls of a room is 480 m if the length of the room is twice its breadth
and the height 8 m, find the are of the floor.​

Hey mate ,

Area of 4 walls of a room is = 2(l+b) × h

given that l = 2b

Thus ,

480 = 2(2b+b) 8

480/16 = 2b^2

30 = 2b^2

15 = b^2

b =√15 meter

Length = 2√15 meter

Area of floor = area of rectangle = lb

= 2√15×√15

= 2×15

= 30 m^2
