As the room is in cuboid shape and the wall are vertical faces of the cuboid

Vertical surface area = 2(l+b)h

57.6 = 2(l+b) X 3.2

57.6/3.2 = 2(l+b)

18 = 2(l+b)

As the floor ahs only length and bredath,

so the perimeter of floor is 18m

Given :

The area of four walls of a room is 57.6m.If the height of the room is 3.2m

To Find:

find the perimeter of the floor

Solution:

Area of 4 walls =2(l+b)h

Height of room = 3.2 m

Area of 4 walls =2(l+b)(3.2)

Perimeter of floor=2(l+b)

We are given that The area of four walls of a room is 57.6m

So,2(l+b)(3.2)=57.6

2(l+b)=\frac{57.6}{3.2}

2(l+b)=18 m

Hence The perimeter of floor is 18 m
