Let us assume that, breadth of the room is x m.

so,

  • L = 3 * B = 3x m.
  • B = x m.
  • H = 3 m.

then,

→ Area of 4 walls = 2(L + B) * H

→ 2(3x + x) * 3 = 144

→ 4x = 24

→ x = 6 .

therefore,

  • L = 3x = 3 * 6 = 18 m.
  • B = x = 6 m.

hence,

→ Area of the floor = L * B = 18 * 6 = 108 (Ans.)
