Answer:3 m

Step-by-step explanation:

area of the four walls of the room = 51

length of the room = 5 m

breadth = 3.5 m

let height of the room be x m

area of 4 walls = perimeter × height

= 2(5 +3.5) × x = 51

2 × 8.5 × x = 51

17 x = 51

x = 3 m(ans)

hope it helps you!!

Solutions :-

Given :

The area of four walls of the room is 51 cm².

And the room is 5 m long and 3.5m wide.

Find the height of the room :-

We know that,

Curved surface area of cuboid = 2h (l + b)

=> 51 = 2h (5 + 3.5)

=> 51 = 2h × 8.5

=> 51 = 17h

=> 51/17 = h = 3

Hence,

The height of the Room = 3 m
