the area of isosceles right angled triangle is 12 cm square find its hypotenuse

area = 1/2 * base * height
12 * 2 = base * base ...since base = height as the given triangle is an isosceles triangle.
24 = l^2
Now the triangle is a right angled one so by Pythagoras theorem
l^2 + l^2 = hypotenuse^2
hypo = √24 + 24
= √48
hypotenuse = 4√3 cm.
