HEY...

AREA OF TRAPEZIUM = 1/2*( SUM OF LENGTHS OF PARALLEL SIDES) * HEIGHT

HERE THE HEIGHT AND AREA IS GIVEN ....

12= 1/2(SUM OF PARALLEL SIDES)*3

24= 3* SUM OF PARALLEL SIDES

SUM OF PARALLEL SIDES= 24/3

SO

SUM OF PARALLEL SIDES= 8

I HOPE IT WILL HELP U MATE ☺❤☺

area of trapezium =( a+b)/2xh
where a and b are the lengths of parallel sides
h is height of trapezium
hence * (a+b)/2xh=12
(a+b)/2x3=12
(a+b)/2 =4
(a+b) =8.. ans..
sum of parallel side is 8 m
