Area of one side of cube = 64 cm^2

since, side of a cube is square.

Area of square = 64 cm^2

 {(side)}^{2}  \:  = 64  \: {cm}^{2} \\ side \:  =  \sqrt{ {64cm}^{2} }  \\ side \:  =  \sqrt{ {(8cm)}^{2} }   \\ side \:  = 8 \: cm \\ volume \: of \: cube \:  =  {(side)}^{3}  =  {(8cm)}^{3}  =  {512 \: cm}^{3}  =  {512 \: cm}^{3}

Therefore, volume of cube is 512 cm^3.
