Answer:

Side of equilateral triangle is 21 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given area of triangle = 462 cm^{2}

Area of triangle = \pir^{2}

Therefore \pir^{2} = 462 cm^{2}

⇒r^{2}[/tex] = 462×\frac{7}{22}

⇒r^{2}[/tex] = 147

⇒r = 7√3 cm

also if x is side of triangle then radius of circumbing circle is \frac{x}{\sqrt{3} }

∴ r = \frac{x}{\sqrt{3} }

⇒7√3 = \frac{x}{\sqrt{3} }

\frac{x}{\sqrt{3} } = 7√3

⇒x = 7√3 × √3

⇒x = 7 × 3

⇒x = 21 cm

Hence side of equilateral triangle is 21 cm.
