Given :

  • Length(AB) in parallelogram is 6.2 cm
  • The perpendicular from C on AB is 5cm

To find :

  • The area of the parallelogram ABCD.

Solution :

Thus here AB is the base of the parallelogram i.e.6.2 cm

And there is a perpendicular from C on AB that is the height of the parallelogram i.e. 5 cm.

Now,

Area of parallelogram = base × height

A/Q

⟼ Area of ||gm = 6.2 × 5

⟼ Area of ||gm = 31 cm²

Thus,

The area of the parallelogram ABCD is 31 cm².

More formulas :

  • Area of rectangle = length × breadth
  • Area of square = side × side
  • Area of triangle = base × height/2
  • Area of circle =
