Answer:

Let the other parallel side be x

According to the question,

Area of trapezium = 368sqcm

1/2×(20+x)×16 = 368

(20+x)×16 = 368÷1/2

(20+x)×16 = 368×2/1

(20+x)×16 = 736

20+x = 736÷16

20+x = 46

x = 46-20

x = 26cm

So, the length of the other parallel side is 26

Answer :-

Given :-

  • Area of trapezium = 368 cm²
  • Height = 16 cm
  • One of the parallel sides = 20 cm

To Find :-

  • Length of other parallel side

Solution :-

We know that,

→ Area of parallelogram = ½ × Sum of parallel sides × Height

Let the other parallel sides be x :-

→ 368 = ½ × ( 20 + x ) × 16

→ 368 = ( 20 + x ) × 8

→ 20 + x = 368 / 8

→ 20 + x = 46

→ x = 46 - 20

→ x = 26

Other parallel sides = 26 cm
