now according to question

144=side ×side
side=√144
side=12m
perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)
=2(16+9)
=2(25)
=50m
perimeter of square=4×side=4×12=48m
required answer=perimeter of rectangle-perimeter of square=50-48=2m
