Let me say  missing information is : length is reduced by 2 units ... in the first sentence.

L = length    B = breadth.    L * B = area
(L-2) (B+2) = L B - 18        =>  L -  B = - 7    --- eq 1
(L+10)(B-5) = L B + 50    =>    - L + 2 B = 20    === eq 2
     add equations 1 and 2          to get B = 13
                   multiply eq 1  by 2  and add to eq 1  to get    L = 6
