To Find:-

  • Find the ratio of length and breadth of rectangle.

Given:-

  • Area of rectangle is 180cm². The length is 15cm.

Solution:-

We know that

️ ➭ Area of rectangle = l × b

️ ➭ 180 = 15 × b

️ ➭ 180 = 15b

️ ➭ b = 180/15

️ ➭ \tt \boxed  { \: b \:  =  \: 12cm \:  }

The ratio of length and breadth is

️ ➭ l : b

️ ➭ 15 : 12

️ ➭ 5 : 4

Verification:-

️ ➭ Area = l × b

️ ➭ 180 = 15 × 12

️ ➭ 180 = 180

~ Finding breadth of rectangle firstly

➝ Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

➝ 180 = 15 × B

➝ 180/15 = B

➝ 12 cm = B

➝ B = 12 cm

~ Finding ratio of it's B to it's L

➝ Ratio of it's B to L

➝ 12 : 15

➝ 4 : 5
