area of rect = length ×breadth
area of rectangle = 225 cm sq
one side = 25 cm
225= length × breadth
225= 25 × breadth
breadth = 225 ÷25
= 9 cm

AnswEr:

  • The other side = 9 Cm.

Given:

  • Area of the rectangle = 225 cm²
  • One of the sides = 25 cm

Need To Find:

  • Other side = ?

ExPlanation:

Area of the rectangle = Product of the lengths of its two sides

  • Other side = Area/Side

Putting the values:

➠ Other side = 225/25

➠ Other Side = 9 cm

  • Hence, the other side is 9 Cm.
