Given, Area = 32 cm^2

and, l = 2b

Hence, 2b*b = 32

         b^2 = 16 => b = 4 cm

Hence, Length = 8 cm and breadth = 4 cm

Let,

Breadth of Rectangle = x cm

So, Length of Rectangle = 2x cm

Now,

Area of Rectangle = 32 cm² ( given )

Also, Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

•°•

Length × Breadth = 32

( x ) × ( 2x ) = 32

2x² = 32

x² = 32 / 2

x² = 16

x = √16

x = ± 4

Dimensions can't be negative.

•°• x = 4

Now,

Length of Rectangle = x = 4 cm

Breadth of Rectangle = 2x = 2 ( 4 ) = 8 cm
