Area of Rectangle = 360 cm²

Let the side of square is x

∴ Area of square = x²             (∵Area of Square = Side²)

Given that

90% Area of Square = Area of Given Rectangle

∴ 90% of x² = 360 cm²

90/100 × x² = 360

x² = (360 × 10) ÷ 9

x² = 400

x = 20

∴ Each side of square is 20 cm

Let the side of Square be x cm

According to Question,

90% of Area of Sq. = Area of rectangle

⇒ 90 / 100 × x² = 360

⇒ 9 / 10 × x² = 360

⇒ x² = 360 × 10 / 9

⇒ x² = 400

⇒ x = √400

⇒ x = 20

Hence, the side of Square is 20 cm.
