Given :-

Using Formula

Let

• Length = x
• Breadth = y

According to question

Case 1.

==> Area of rectangle = 400

==> Length . Breadth = 400

==> x.y = 400____________(1)

Case 2.

==> x = 15 × y/100 + y

==> x = 3y/20 + y

==> x = (3y + 20y)/20

==> 20x - 23y = 0____________(2)

by equ(1)

==> y = 400/x_____________(3)

Now, by equ(2)

==> 20x - 23 × 400/x = 0

==> 20x² - 9200 = 0

==> 20x² = 9200

==> x² = 9200/20

==> x² = 460

==> x = √460

==> x = 21.5

Now, keep in equ(3)

==> y = 400/21.5

==> y = 18.6

Hence

• Length of rectangle = 21.5 cm
• Breadth of Rectangle = 18.6 cm
