The area of rectangle is 460 centimetre square. If the lenght is 15% more than the breadth, what is the breadth of the rectangle?

Let the breadth be x.

then length=x+ 15/100x=115/100 x

According to question,

460=x * 115/100x

⇒x²=460*100 / 115

x²=400

x=√400=20 cm

breadth=20 cm

length= 20+ 15/100*20=23 cm
