the area of rectangle is 460cm2 if the lenght is 15% more than the breadth what is the breadth of rectangle ?

let breadth = x cm

so, length = 15%of x + x cm

so, length = 3x/20+x cm

= 23x/20 cm

now , we know that area of rectangle = lb

so, 460 = x × 23x/20

so, x² = 400
x = 20 cm

so, breadth of the rectangle = 20 cm
