= length × breadth = (2x) × (3x) = 6x²

   96  = 6x²

 96/6 =  x²

 16  = x²

  √16 = x

     4  =  x

length = 3x = 12m

perimeter = 2 (l+b)

                 = 2(12+8)

                 = 2(20)

                  =40m
