Answer:

Side of square - 16

Area of square - (Side)^2

Area - 16 x 16

= 256

Area of square = Area of rectangle

Length of rectangle - 32 m

Breadth = ??

Area = 256cm^2

Length = 32 m

Breadth = 256cm^2/32 m

= 8 m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 x (L+B)

Perimeter = 2 x (32 m + 8 m)

2 x (40)

80 m is the perimeter

  • The area of rectangle is same as that of a square of side 16 m if the length of the rectangle is 32 meter. Find its Perimeter.

 \huge {\bf{\orange{\mathfrak{Answer:-}}}}

  • Area of rectangle = Area of square (Given)

  • \boxed{\therefore{\textsf{l \: * \: b \: = \: s \: * \: s}}}

  • 32 x b = 16 * 16

  • 32 x b = 256

  • \frac{256}{32} \textsf{= \: b}

  •  \boxed{\therefore{\textsf{b \: = \: 8}}}

  • We know that l = 32m and b = 8m of a Rectangule.

  • \boxed{\textsf{Perimeter \: of \: Rectangle \: = 2 \:  ( \: l \: + \: b \: )}}

  • 2 ( 32 + 8 )

  • \textsf{2 \: * \: 40}

  • \boxed{\textsf{80\: m}}

 \huge{\bf{\red{\mathfrak{Conclusion:-}}}}

  • \boxed{\therefore{\textsf{Perimeter \: of \: Rectangle \: = \: 80 \: m}}}
