convert the 500 m into cm

1 m = 100 cm
500m = 500×100
= 50000 cm

=> consider width as x

=> AREA = Length × BREADTH(width)

=> 50000 = 25 cm × X

=> 50000= 25X

=> 25X = 50000

=> X = 50000÷25

=> X = 2000

convert it into metre

1m = 100 cm
2000cm = 2000÷100
=20 m



Verification

=> ( all are in cm )

=> 2000× 25 = 50000

=> 50000 = 50000

Therefore the width is 20 m
