The area of rectangular field is 3456cm sq and its length is 96cm .Find the cost of fencing the field it at the rate of Rs 4/cm

Area of field = length x breadth
3456 = 96 x breadth
breadth = 3456 / 96 = 36 cm

Cost of fencing it at the rate of rs. 4 per cm² = perimeter x 4
= 2( length + breadth) x 4
= 2 (96 + 36 ) x 4
= 2 x 132 x 4
=Rs. 1056
