In a rhombus,all the 4 sides are equal
therefore,
Perimeter=4×side
56=4×side
therefore,
each side is 14 cm

Since rhombus is a special case of a parellalogram where the bisectors are perpendicular,

in this case,

area of rhombus=base×altitude
119=14×altitude
 \frac{119}{14}  = altitude
altitude=8.5 cm

the altitude of the rhombus is 8.5 cm
