Answer

The height of the rhombus is 8.5 cm

Solution

Perimeter,P = 56 cm [Given]

We know that,

Perimeter of rhombus = 4 × Side

56 = 4 × Side

Side= 56/4

Side= 14 cm

Side = Base =14 cm

Area of rhombus =199 cm [Given]

Now,

Area of Rhombus = Base × Height

119 = 14 × Height

Height = 119/14

Height, h = 8.5 cm

Given:

The area of rhombus is 119cm and it's perimeter is 56 cm.

To Find:

Height of the rhombus.

Solution:

We know that the Perimeter of Rhombud =4*length of side.[This is Because all sides of rhombus are equal].

=>Length of side

=56/4=

=14cm

Area=base*altiude

Any side pf Rhombus can be considered as base.

=>Altitude=Area/base

=Area/(Any Side)

=119/14

=8.5cm.

Hence the height of rhombus is 8.5cm.
