Given :

  • Area of Rhombus = 240cm²

  • One Diagonal = 16cm

To Find :

  • Other diagonal

Solution :

Here in the Question we are given Length of one diagonal of Rhombus and Area. As we know that area of Rhombus is 1/2 × Diagonal₁ × Diagonal₂ By Putting values in the formula We will get the Length of other diagonal.

Area of Rhombus = 1/2 × D₁ × D₂

➛ 240 = 1/2 × 16 × D₂

➛ 240 = 8 × D₂

➛ D₂ = 240/8

➛ D₂ = 30cm

Verification :

Area of Rhombus = 1/2 × D₁ × D₂

➛ 240 = 1/2 × 16 × 30

➛ 240 = 8 × 30

➛ 240 = 240

Hence, Verified

Length of Other diagonal is 30cm
