area of rhombus = (1/2)(length of one diagonal)×(length of another diagonal)
⇒48 = (1/2)×8× length of another diagonal
⇒length of another diagonal = 48/4 = 12 cm

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Area of rhombus = 48 cm2

Length of one Diagonal = 8 cm

To Find :-

Length of the other diagonal

Formula to be used :-

Area of rhombus = (1/2) × d₁ × d₂

Solution :-

Let the other length is x.

Area of rhombus = (1/2) × d₁ × d₂

⇒ 48 = (1/2) × 8 × x

⇒ x = 48/4

⇒ x = 12 cm

Hence, the length of the other diagonals is 12 cm.
