GIVEN,

Area of rhombus = 60cm²

one diagonal = 10cm

other diagonal = x cm

we know that,

area of rhombus = $\frac{1}{2}$ × diagonal 1 × diagonal 2

60 = $\frac{1}{2}$ × 10 × x

(By cancellation)

60 = 5x

$\frac{60}{5}$ = x

12 = x

hence the other diagonal is 12cm
