GIVEN,

Area of rhombus = 60cm²

one diagonal = 10cm

other diagonal = x cm

we know that,

area of rhombus = \frac{1}{2} × diagonal 1 × diagonal 2

60 = \frac{1}{2} × 10 × x

(By cancellation)

60 = 5x

\frac{60}{5} = x

12 = x

hence the other diagonal is 12cm
