The area of rhombus is 72cmsq .If one of its doagonals is 18 cm what is length of other diagonals

D2=?
Area of rhombus.=1/2×d1×d2=72
1/2×18×d2=72
9×D2=72
D2=72/9
D2=8cm

Let the other diagonal be x

We know that

Area of rhombus = 1/2 * d1*d2
72 = 1/2*18*x
72*2=18x
144=18x
X = 144/18
X=8

Hence the length of other diagonal is 8.
