the perimeter of rhombus = 4 x length of one side
let the length of one side =L
given,
4xL=40cm
L=40/4
L=10cm
area of rhombus =84sq.cm
Base B x altitude L =84
B=84/L
B=84/10
B=8.4cm
therefore base =8.4cm and altitude =10 cm
