given :-

area of the Rhombus = 22cm²

perimeter of the rhombus = 48cm

=> 4 × side = 48cm (since there are 4 equal sides of a rhombus)

=> side = 48/4

=> side = 12cm

now we know that rhombus is also a parallelogram. and the formula for the area of a rhombus is also base × height where base is the side of the Rhombus and height is the perpendicular distance between the sides.

therefore 12 × h = 22cm²

=> h = 22/12

=> h = 1.83cm (approximately)

hence, the distance between the sides of the Rhombus is 1.83cm
