the area of right angled triangle is 96 square centimetres. one of the perpendicular sifes is 16 cm long. what is is the length of the other?​

We know area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

so,

1/2 ×16×base = 96 (as a perpendicular to any triangle is its height)

base = 96/8

base = 12

hence the other side is 12.
