Area of right triangle = 1/2×B×P
24cm² =1/2×B×8
B = 24×2/8
B = 3×2 = 6cm
Therefore,
B = 6, P = 8, H =?
We know that,
(H)² = (B)²+(P)²
(H)² =(6)²+(8)²
(H)² = 36+64= 100
H = ✓100 = 10cm
Hence,
Hypotenuse = 10cm

heya frnd!

here's ur answer...

given the height of the right triangle=8cm

area of the right triangle=24cm²

→1/2×b×h=24cm²

→1/2×b×8=24cm²

→4×b=24cm²

→b=24/4

→b=6cm

verification:-

area of the right triangle=1/2×b×h

=1/2×6×8

=3×8

=24cm²

hence verified

thus the base of right triangle is 6cm.

we all know Pythagoras thereom in which a²+b²=c²

here a is the height means the side containing right angle and b is the base. c is the hypotenuse.

→ a² + b² = c²

→ 8² + 6² = c²

→ 64 + 36 = c²

→ 100 = c²

→ c = √100

→ c = 10cm

verification:-

→a²+b²=c²

→c²=10²

=100

→8²+6²

→64+36

=100

hence verified.

thus the hypontuse of the right triangle is 10cm.

hope this helps..!
