the area of a right angled triangle is 1/2 bh
given
1/2 (14.8)(h) = 129.5
7.4(h)=129.5
h=17.5
The other side is 17.5cm

Answer:

17.5cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of triangle = \frac{1}{2} \times Base\times Height

Now we are given The area of right triangular region is 129.5 square cm.

One of the sides containing the right angle is 14.8 cm.

Substitute the values in the formula

So,  129.5=\frac{1}{2} \times 14.8\times Height

\frac{129.5\times 2}{14.8}= Height

17.5= Height

Hence the another side of right angle is 17.5 cm
