Concept-

The area, A of a circle with radius r is given by A = πr². The portion of the circle enclosed by two radii and the corresponding arc is known as the sector of a circle.

Given-

Area of a sector is 5.024 cm² and its angle is 36°.

Find-

We need to find the radius of the sector.

Solution-

Area  of sector = 5.024 cm²

Angle = 36°

Let radius be r cm

Area of sector = πr² × θ/360°

⇒ 5.024 = 3.14 × r² × 36°/360°

⇒ 5.024 × 10° / 3.14 = r²

⇒ 16 = r²

⇒ 4 cm = r

∴Therefore, the radius of sector is is 4 cm.
