the area of square and a rectangular plot are equal.if the side of the square is 18 m and the length of the rectangular plot is 27 m, find the breadth of the rectangular plot.

We know that,
Area of square plot = Area of rectangular plot
Side of square = 18m
Length of rectangular plot = 27m
Breadth of rectangular plot = ?
Area of square plot =
Side × Side
= 18×18
= 324m square
So area of rectangular plot = 324m square.
Breadth =
length × breadth = area
=> 27 × b = 324
=> b = 324÷27
=> b = 12
Hence, breadth of rectangular plot = 12m.
