Given :

The area of square and parallelogram is the same.if the side of the square is 56 cm and Base of parallelogram is 128cm

To Find :

find the corresponding height of the parallelogram.

Solution:

Side of square = 56 cm

Area of square = Side^2 = 56^2 =3136 cm^2

Base of parallelogram = 128 cm

Area of parallelogram = Base \times Height = 128 \times Height

We are given that area of square and parallelogram is the same.

So,3136=128 \times Height

Height = \frac{3136}{128}

Height =24.5 cm

Hence The height of parallelogram is 24.5 cm
