Area of rectangle =l*b
Area of rectangle =40*100=4000cm^2
Area of rectangle =Area of square
Area of square=4000=l^2
l^2=4000
l=√4000=63.25(aporox)Perimetre=4l
Perimeter of square =4*63.25=253cm

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Length=100cm ;breadth=40cm

Area of square =area of rectangle

=> s²=l x b

=> s²= 40 x 100

=> s=√40 x100

=> s= 20√10

So side is equal to 20√10

Perimeter is equal to 4s..........thats equal to 4x20√10=100√10
