Given :–

  • Area of square field = 1 \frac{17}{64} m.

To Find :–

  • Perimeter of square.

Formula Applied :–

  • Area of square = a²
  • Perimeter of square = 4a

Solution :–

Area of square is in mixed fraction so, first we have to convert as a normal fraction.

For converting normal fraction,

  1. Multiply 1 with the denominator.
  2. And the result we get after multiplying, add the numerator.
  3. And the denominator remains same.

So, from this steps we get,

→ 1 × 64

→ 64

Now add the numerator (17) on the result we get,

→ 64 + 17

→ 81

And the denominator remains same. So, we get,

• Area of square field =  \frac{81}{64}

a² =  \frac{81}{64}

a² = 1.27

a = √1.27

a = 1.125 m

Now,

Perimeter = 4a

  • a = 1.125 m

→ 4 × 1.125

→ 4.5 m²

Hence,

The perimeter of the square is 4.5 m²
