Hi,

Let the side of the square = a m

1 ) area of the square = a^2 -----( 1 )

Area = 2500 square meters ----( 2 ) given

( 1 ) = ( 2 )

a^2 = 2500

a^2 = (50)^2

a = 50 m

2 ) perimeter of the square = 4a

P = 4 × 50

P = 200 m

I hope this helps you.

Answer:

The side of the square will be 50m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The area of a square is 2500m square.

We have to find the side of the square.

  • As we know that the formula is used to calculate the area of the square is: Area= side ^2

We are solving in the following way:

We have,

The area of a square is 2500m square.

The side of the square will be:

Area= side ^2

We will put the given value in the above formula;

=>2500=side^2\\=>\sqrt{2500} =side\\=>side=50\ \ \ [\because 50\times50=2500]

Hence, the side of the square will be 50m.
