Area of Square Park = Area of Rectangular Park

Area of Square Park = 3600

⇒ Area of Rectangular Park =  3600

We know,

Area of rectangle =  l \ · \ b

Length =  90 m

 90 \times b = 3600

 b = \dfrac{3600}{90} = 40 m

∴ Breadth of the rectangular piece of park is 40 m.

Area of square park, \sf A_s = 3600 m²

Length of rectangular park, \sf l_r = 90 m

Breadth of rectangular park, \sf b_r = ?

So, Area of square park = Area of rectangular park

\sf A_s = \sf A_r

• πr² = \sf l_r × \sf b_r

• 3600 = 90 × \sf b_r

\sf b_r = \dfrac{3600}{90}

\sf b_r = 40 m

Therefore, breath of rectangular park is 40 m.
