The area of the base of a cuboid is 44m^2. Find the height , if the volume is 378.4 cm^2.

44 m² = 44 x 100 x 100 cm²

= 440000 cm²

For the cuboid with length (L), breadth (B) amd height (H)

Ar(base) = L x B

440000 = L x B ........ (i)

Now,

vol(cuboid) = L x B x H

378.4 = 440000 x H ... {from (i)}

H = 378.4/440000

H = 0.00086

i.e. H = 8.6 x 10^-4 cm

Hence, height of the cuboid is

8.6 x 10^-4 cm
